Craig Leigh, Principal Design Director of Minecraft Legends, has announced some exciting updates for Minecraft Legends, including new Lost Legends like Creeper Clash in time for Halloween and Snow vs Snout in December.
Minecraft Legends’ December update was also teased, and it will include the addition of frogs, a new piglin unit and structure, and new witch allies that can cast potions.
Minecraft Vanilla Update 1.21 will add a lot of new features in mid-2024
Minecraft Vanilla Update 1.21 will be released in mid-2024 and will add a number of new features, including automated crafting, combat test chambers, copper bulbs, a test spawner, and the Breeze.
The Crafter is the name of the automated crafting system and it will be of “particular interest to Redstone Engineers”
Combat Test Chambers are procedurally generated structures that provide players with new, unique challenges to overcome. Breezes will appear in these trials, moving by jumping and firing exploding wind-powered projectiles. Additionally, it will explode immediately if it encounters a player.
Copper light bulbs are a new light-emitting block that will oxidize over time, and the more it oxidizes, the weaker the light will be.
Finally, the Trial Spawner will not spawn any more adds for a certain period of time after spawning a certain number of adds. These spawners also reward players by throwing away their loot.
