The most costly service you can purchase is a weapon; each one costs 300 Gold Bars. But since they’re usually in high demand, it can be worthwhile to part with your hard-earned cash, particularly if your loadout is devoid of any effective weaponry.
Cerberus and Oscar are the two characters that refuse to offer you anything. Rather, they will issue a challenge to a duel. Should you succeed in taking them out, they will drop a legendary weapon for you to retrieve. Some of the strongest weapons in the game are these ones.
Until you speak with an NPC, they will only show up on the map as question marks. The map below shows the whole cast of characters along with their locations. The numbers line up with the preceding table.

How to Employ Fortnite Specialty Characters
When you speak with any character on the map, they will all want to help you in some way, but only a select handful can be employed as experts. These are the T-60 Power Armor, Artemis, Centurion, Ruckus, Brave Leader, and Triage Trooper. Their locations are shown in the table above.
It’s a good idea to add a hirable character to your squad early in a match, before someone else buys their services, as these NPCs are typically the most popular ones in the game.

There are four different kinds of specialists in the game: Medic Specialists occasionally use Chug Splash to cure you, Heavy Specialists launch grenades at your adversaries, Supply Specialists replenish your supplies and ammunition, and Scout Specialists mark nearby foes and chests.
It’s common to need to hire a specialized character to finish a weekly challenge in Fortnite, therefore it’s a good idea to learn which NPCs provide this service.
